This concise overview critically assesses the impact of Disney’s animated films on the themes of
death, resurrection, and the afterlife, juxtaposing them with Seventh-day Adventist beliefs. The
extensive repertoire of Disney films featuring death displays varying depictions of mortality and
the deceased. Disney’s pervasive influence on societal norms generates controversies due to its
departure from Adventist teachings concerning mortality, justice, and the afterlife, potentially
fostering misunderstandings. From a Seventh-day Adventist standpoint, these narratives
amalgamate diverse ideologies, straying from biblical tenets and potentially contributing to
deliberate or inadvertent spiritual deception. Prudence is advised when engaging with such media,
emphasizing the necessity of anchoring oneself in biblical veracity and seeking divine guidance.
Given the need for brevity, the article selectively explores specific to Disney’s portrayal of
mortality and the afterlife and Adventist theology
