Research peer-reviewed magazine Submission Guidelines for “The Spicerian”

1. Submission of Manuscript

1.1 Eligibility: The Spicerian invites submissions of original research papers, reviews, and academic contributions in the area of the field [for example, “Solar Energy and Renewable Resources”].

1.2 Submission Period: The Spicerian issues publications every two years. Manuscripts may be submitted at any time, however, in order to be considered for publication in a particular edition, submission deadlines for each biannual issue must be met.

1.3 Manuscript Format: Authors must adhere to the instructions for preparing manuscripts for the journal, which are listed in the "Author Instructions" section of the journal's website.

1.4 Originality: Manuscripts submitted for consideration must be original works that have not already been published. The use of redundant material or plagiarism is strictly forbidden.

2. Peer Review Procedure

2.1 Review Criteria: Each manuscript will go through a thorough peer review procedure that considers aspects including scientific rigour, clarity, importance, and adherence to the peer-reviewed magazine scope

2.2 Reviewer Selection: To provide a fair and thorough examination, reviewers will be chosen based on their subject matter expertise.

3. Ethics and Authorship

3.1 Authorship: All people who made a substantial contribution to the research must be acknowledged. There should be a proper acknowledgment of other people's contributions.

3.2 Conflict of Interest: The authors of the publication are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest involving the research that is being presented.

3.3 Ethical Considerations: Authors who conduct studies on people, animals, or private information must follow ethical standards. As required, appropriate approvals and informed consent should be sought.

4. Licencing and Copyright

4.1 Copyright: The writers own the rights to their creations. By sending in a manuscript, authors give The Spicerian permission to publish and share their creations.

4.2 Open Access: The Spicerian provides possibilities for open access. During the submission process, authors have the option to choose their preferred publication model.

5. Acceptance and Publication of Manuscripts

5.1 Acceptance Criteria: Manuscripts are accepted based on the standard of the research and compliance with peer-reviewed magazine policies. Peer review is a must, and acceptance is not assured.

5.2 Publication Schedule: Manuscripts will be released in accordance with the peer-reviewed magazine's biannual publication schedule once they have been accepted.

5.3 Article Processing Charges (APCs): Authors will be informed of any relevant Article Processing Charges (APCs) related to publishing in The Spicerian.

6. Disputes and Appeals

6.1 Appeals: Authors may challenge editorial judgments if they have legitimate reservations about the review procedure.

6.2 Complaints: Any complaints about the editorial or peer review procedures will be carefully looked into and handled.
